Overview
The Systems Engineering Manager is responsible for overseeing and directing the research, development, and engineering efforts focused on innovative energy solutions, including the EW16 wind turbine and the S4S and energy autonomy systems. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive product development and ensure technical excellence, aligning with the company’s mission of sustainable energy advancements. The Systems Engineering Manager will lead projects from ideation to implementation, ensuring they meet industry standards, performance criteria, and market needs.
Responsibilities
- Product Innovation: Lead the Systems Engineering initiatives focused on the development and innovation of the EW16 wind turbine and S4S energy autonomy systems.
- Technology Advancement: Identify and incorporate cutting-edge technologies to improve the performance, efficiency, and reliability of renewable energy products.
- Collaboration with Product Teams: Work closely with product development, engineering, and business development teams to align systems engineering initiatives with market demands and business objectives.
- Prototyping and Testing: Supervise the development and testing of prototypes, ensuring that products meet technical specifications and quality standards.
- Project Oversight: Manage the engineering process from concept through to final production, ensuring timely and cost-effective project delivery.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary engineering team, providing guidance and support in technical problem-solving and professional development.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and uphold engineering standards, conducting regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
- Cross-functional Coordination: Coordinate with other departments, including manufacturing and supply chain, to ensure the smooth execution of engineering projects.
- Maintenance and Product Improvement:
- Product Optimization: Oversee continuous improvement processes for existing products, including performance enhancements for the EW16 and S4S systems.
- Customer Feedback Analysis: Integrate customer feedback into the R&D and engineering processes to address any potential product improvements or modifications.
- Compliance and Certification: Ensure that all products meet industry standards and obtain necessary certifications for safety, performance, and environmental compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 7-10 years experience in Engineering and Systems Engineering roles, ideally within the renewable energy sector or similar industrial setting.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of renewable energy systems, particularly wind energy and autonomous energy solutions. Proven track record of managing Systems engineering projects and engineering teams focused on energy solutions.
- Communication Skills: Strong command of the English language.

Work Conditions
