Job Summary: 

The Production and Construction Manager is a cross-functional leadership role responsible for overseeing the manufacturing, assembly, and on-site construction of the EW16 wind turbine and S4S energy autonomy systems. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, ERP system proficiency, production skills, material handling, and hands-on construction experience. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient production operations, maintain high-quality standards, and successfully manage construction projects, while fostering a culture of safety, innovation, and continuous improvement. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • – Oversee and manage the daily operations of the production facility, including the manufacturing of EW16 wind turbines and S4S energy autonomy systems. 
  • – Ensure production schedules and milestones are met by coordinating with logistics, procurement, and inventory teams. 
  • – Manage ERP system usage to track production progress, inventory levels, and resource planning. 
  • – Monitor and improve production processes, focusing on lean manufacturing principles and operational efficiency. 
  • – Collaborate with the engineering team to implement design changes and resolve technical issues. 
  • – Plan, organize, and supervise on-site construction activities, including installation and commissioning of EW16 wind turbines and S4S systems. (Operation, Monitoring & Maintenance responsibility is excluded.) 
  • – Coordinate construction timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project completion. 
  • – Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team, including technicians, procurement and quality 
  • – Develop and maintain a high-performing team through training, mentoring, and performance evaluations. 
  • – Work closely with procurement to ensure timely availability of materials and equipment. 
  • – Collaborate with the QHSE team to ensure compliance with quality, health, safety, and environmental standards. 
  • – Prepare and present regular reports on production and construction performance, including key metrics, project status, and resource utilization. 

Required Qualifications: 

  • – Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. 
  • – Minimum of 3 years of combined experience in production engineering/ management, ERP system usage and construction project management. 
  • – Proven experience in managing multidisciplinary teams and complex projects in the energy or industrial sector. 
  • – Strong knowledge of production/ supply chain processes, assembly techniques, and on-site construction practices. 
  • – Proficiency in using ERP systems for production planning and resource management. 
  • – Familiarity with industry standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001. 
  • – Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills. 
  • – Strong communication and leadership abilities. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • – MBA or equivalent experience in business management. 
  • – Experience in renewable energy systems, particularly wind turbines and hybrid energy solutions. 
  • – Certification in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies. 
  • – Previous experience in plant operations or construction management in the energy sector.
