Overview  

The Head of Procurement at Eunice Energy Group will oversee all procurement functions, serving the entire Group, including factory operations. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), this role is pivotal in managing procurement across multiple departments, ensuring effective sourcing, cost management, and timely acquisition of high-quality materials and services. You will drive supplier relationships, manage the procurement tendering process, and ensure efficient, compliant day-to-day procurement operations. Additionally, you will supervise a procurement administrator, responsible for daily administrative tasks and operational support.  

Responsibilities 

  • Supplier and Relationship Management: 
  • Develop and maintain relationships with reliable suppliers to secure high-quality materials and services that support Group operations. 
  • Lead supplier performance evaluations to ensure that suppliers consistently meet quality, cost, and delivery standards. 
  • Work closely with suppliers to align them with Eunice Group’s sustainability and ethical sourcing goals. 
  • Contracting and Negotiations 
  • Lead contract negotiations to ensure favorable terms and minimize risks, ensuring all agreements align with Group policies and regulatory requirements. 
  • Stay informed on market conditions, including pricing trends and emerging supplier innovations, to inform and strengthen negotiation outcomes. 
  • Monitor contract renewals and adjustments as necessary, maintaining a portfolio of agreements that align with the Group’s evolving needs.  
  • Procurement Planning and Execution: 
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and finance departments to understand procurement needs, support seamless operations, and optimize inventory levels. 
  • Oversee the procurement tender process, from preparing RFPs to evaluating bids and awarding contracts, ensuring transparency and adherence to company policy. 
  • Maintain inventory control through demand forecasting and supply planning, preventing stock shortages and excess inventory in coordination with factory operations according to lead time per supplier or/and goods. 
  • Procurement Data, Reporting, and Compliance 
  • Develop and track key procurement metrics (e.g., cost savings, supplier performance, analyze purchase price variance (PPV) report) to monitor progress and continuously improve procurement effectiveness. 
  • Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on procurement activities, achievements, and any arising issues. 
  • Ensure compliance with all internal and external regulatory requirements, maintaining accurate procurement records for audit purposes. 
  • Team and Stakeholder Management 
  • Supervise and mentor the procurement administrator handling administrative tasks, such as documentation, order tracking, and data entry. 
  • Partner with internal stakeholders across the Group to clarify procurement specifications and timelines, ensuring seamless support for factory and office-based operations. 
  • Operational Oversight and Risk Management 
  • Oversee the issuance of purchase orders and track order fulfillment, coordinating with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely receipt of goods. 
  • Identify supply chain risks, develop contingency plans, and create alternative supplier networks to prevent disruptions in production and other operations. 
  • Administrative Support and Systems Management 
  • Ensure all procurement documents are well-organized, up-to-date, and accessible, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier agreements. 
  • Manage the ERP system for accurate data entry, order tracking, and invoice processing, supporting financial alignment and budgeting. 

Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. 
  • 5+ years of experience in procurement, ideally within manufacturing or industrial environments. 
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP and procurement software systems.  
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and project management skills.

Work Conditions 

  • Work Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week. Flexibility in working hours may be required. 
  • Contract Type: Permanent contract with a 6-month probation period. 
  • Location: Marousi, Attiki 
  • Work Environment: Office based 
  • Remote Work: Hybrid workplace model, 1-day remote work per week.
