Responsibilities 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement SCADA systems for our energy projects. HW for SCADA implementation.  
  • Create and maintain SCADA architecture, ensuring efficient data acquisition, monitoring, and control.  
  • Identification of most suitable equipment to perform required tasks.  
  • Implementation and specification of sensors.    
  • Design installations according to specification.  
  • Customize SCADA solutions based on project requirements.  
  • Experience with various database technologies and telecommunications.  
  • Creation of SW essential to SCADA operations and system management /historical data.  
  • Reporting of control methodology including hard data  
  • Understand hardware specifications and select appropriate components for SCADA systems.  
  • Work closely with electrical and automation engineers to integrate SCADA hardware.  
  • Develop intuitive and user-friendly SCADA interfaces for operators and maintenance personnel.  
  • Design and implement the backend infrastructure for SCADA systems. 

 

Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical /mechanical engineering, Computer Engineering, Automation, or a related field. 
  • Technical Skills: Proven experience in SCADA system development (Wonderware, Siemens WinCC). Strong knowledge of PLCs, HMI design, and industrial communication protocols (Modbus, OPC, DNP3). 
  • Software Expertise: Proficiency in MS Office, MySQL, Apache/Tomcat, Webservices, SOAP/REST, XML/JSON, VB.NET, Intusoft/ AVEVA, Modbus TCP, Modbus RTU, Siemens TIA portal. 
  • Communication Skills: Strong command of the English language.

Work Conditions 

  • Work Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week. Flexibility in working hours may be required. 
  • Contract Type: Permanent contract with a 6-month probation period. 
  • Location: Mandra Attiki, rarely traveling to other sites if required. 
  • Work Environment: Primarily office-based with visits to project sites if needed. 
  • Remote Work: Hybrid workplace model, 1-day remote work per week
