Position: Senior Energy Trader

Location: Marousi, Attica, Greece

Job Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:

• Participates in day Ahead Auctions, Day Ahead Trading (physical– financial)
• Checks the Cash Flow with Power Exchanges, Market Operators, Clearing Banks and TSOs
• Communicates with power brokers and screen trading
• Analyses the market to be able to forecast prices accurately
• Negotiates the price of the power that trades to achieve profitable deals
• Development of new forecast models & improvement of these that already exist
• Creation of Daily PnL (Profit and Loss) Reporting
• Creation of daily KPI reporting (Key Performance Indicators)
• Updating ETRM (Energy Trading Risk Management) daily
• Invoice and Contract Management
• Scheduling of all physical positions (Communication to TSOs)
• Participation in conferences and exhibitions, presentations, meetings.

Requirements:

• University Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering/ Science/ Mathematics/ Economics
• English Language/ Proficiency or Equivalent
• ICT Literacy/ Microsoft Office, Python
• At least 4 years of experience in related position
