EUNICE ENERGY GROUP (EEG) together with the non-profit organization, STEM Education, participate at the Athens Scientific Festival, which takes place at Technopolis, Municipality of Athens between 3rd to 7th of April 2019. The festival focuses on promoting modern scientific and technological achievements based on green growth and cyclical economy. The event is organized under the Auspices of the Hellenic Ministry of Environment and Energy and the General Secretariat for Research and Technology.
At the stand of EEG & STEM, both children and adults will have the chance to experiment, like modern engineers, a variety of renewable energy applications by using GIGO WIND POWER, GIGO LIGHT & Solar Energy learning packages. Furthermore, they will share practices on how to reduce environmental carbon footprint, as well as, vision the future, whereby a slowdown of global warming can be in line with economic growth and innovation.
Since September 2018, EEG and STEM Education have supported scientific, educational activities for over 600 high school students in remote areas of Greece, where access to modern educational structures is limited.
Participation in Technopolis event is a solid demonstration on how EEG continues, as a part of its corporate social responsibility program, to support STEM Education and innovative academic actions that promote sustainable technology and innovation.
