After the installation of the first in operation Hybrid Power Station in Southern Europe, carried out by Eunice Energy Group and its pioneering S4S system, the Island of Tilos continues to add to its portfolio of remarkable environmental and financial green achievements by pursuing eco and smart activities around waste management.
According to The Washington Post‘s article, the island just recently announced that more than a staggering 80% of its waste is now being recycled with landfill sites being replaced by recycling plants. Incorporating propriety apps and engaging the whole community, Tilos is proving to be a true laboratory for the next stage of green transition.
